Can my cat and I share the same water cup?

our cat has been vaccinated and spayed, and usually stays indoors. I have a habit of keeping a glass of H2O by my bed, and recently she has found it, and started drinking from it also, both with her tongue and paw. (She also has her dedicated water bowl near her food as well.) Is it OK if I drink/ sip my water after she drinks from it? Is this “cute” or are there health hazards I should know about?

It’s not going to hurt you, but I recommend switching to a water bottle with a cap. If she’s sticking her paws in it, then it’s only a matter of time before she knocks a glass of water over and makes a mess.
