Caring for a stray cat?

Someone (do not know who) has two kittens through our garden wall. We have 7 dogs. Attacked and wounded one (who died shortly after), but I managed to save the other. He is very young, I think about 4 weeks, and very small businesses. The main problem is that hardly eat anything. It is a little water occasionally and do not manage half a teaspoon of sardines, but apart from that he took nothing. He is with us for a week. Please do not suggest a center for animals, do not exist here, in rural areas in the Philippines. I can not get all the cats milk or a bottle / pacifier for a kitten. No veterinarians around here either. It is very likely that I could find someone to our dogs, but I think they are a package wolves, and are clearly hostile to cats. They have already killed a few who have ventured into the garden. All sensible suggestions please? Thanks

A kitten 4 weeks old is too young to eat solid foods. I'm not familiar with the Philippines, but are you able to buy goat milk? (Goat's milk in particular, no cows or other milk). It is possible to raise a kitten in goat milk. No need to have good bottle / nipple / teat. You can use a syringe on it. Any pharmacy will be able to provide a 10 ml syringe or a few large for very little money. If goat milk is not available, I would try to take some quality kitten dry food. Soak the kitten food in water, and crush to make a dough that is soft enough for you to take in syringe power that way. Even more important than food, water – kittens can die from dehydration very quickly. You may first have to force-feed pulp food and water, which requires patience and can be messy (no food / water up on you or the cat in the cat). If you drive the next Kitty weeks, will soon be old enough to start on soft canned foods. Hope this helps, but with you to try to save this little baby! EDIT: Am I missing something – if you get the kitten to eat and drink at that age, they also promote kitten to pee / poop. To do this, get a towel soaked in hot water recently or a cotton swab in warm water and gently wipe the area around the anus. The mother cat after the meal to stimulate elimination.
