I would recommend Wüsthof knives. A second choice would Henkle. Henkle was sold to the goal, and can be found in Wusthoff department stores like Macy's or other higher level specialist cook shop. As for the pots and pans, get some that are built into the handle and the rivet is good, but look for a screw. A screw will be the best if it is loose you can tighten again.
